I ADORE this series. I come back to these books time and again and each time is as magical as the first time I read it.

In this second installment of The Beacon Hill Sorcerer, we see Angel Salvatore and Simeon, First Elder of the only Vampire Bloodclan in Boston settling into their new bond. But the love life of a necromancer never runs smoothly, especially one so snarky and danger prone as Angel.

Angel has a new apprentice to contend with, the only child of the Salvatore's sworn enemies the Macavoys, which means he has to deal with the family that was responsible for the slaughter of his own in the battle that ended the Blood Wars and gave Angel his most fearsome reputation as a vampire killer. AND there's a troll on the loose, killing people. A troll who happen's to be Dame Milly Fontaine's ex husband. Also, what is up with the high fae running around town too?

All Angel wants to do is teach his students, live his life and have smoking hot sex with his undead love but life - and death - get in the way. Some necromancer's can never catch a break.
